ABOUT NOÉ

He grew up between 2 paradises, Réunion Island in the Indian Ocean, and Bora Bora in French Polynesia. Surrounded by turquoise waters and constant trade winds, his connection to the ocean started early. As a child, he was already surfing and sailing, training hard and competing in national events. That’s where the spark ignited, a deep, lasting passion for all things water.

Over time, his curiosity led him to explore every corner of the water sports world: windsurfing, kitesurfing, stand-up paddling, surfing, sailing… and then came FOILING. From the very first glide, something clicked. The sensation was different, pure, silent, like flying. It didn’t take long for it to become his obsession.

“Foiling, for me, opens a whole new dimension in water sports. It’s not just a trend, I truly believe in its future.”

NAZ  ARÉ

BIG WAVES FOILER

BREAKING

LIMITS

For the past 2 years, during the big wave season, he’s joined an established team in Nazaré, where he can train and push his limits in the waves. His ambition is to push the limits of the foil in massive conditions and to grow alongside a dedicated team.

He fully immersed himself in big wave foil surfing, striving to absorb as much advice as possible with each session.

“I truly want to bring something new to big wave surfing, and I’m convinced that FOILING has a legitimate place in the world of massive waves.”

JUDGE FOR THE GWA/GKA

Since 2024, I’ve been judging for the GWA and GKA. This opportunity allows me to stay closely connected to the evolution of the sport while traveling to some of the best spots around the world.

I’ll keep supporting the development of foil, especially with a focus on wave and big wave riding. I'm also grateful to work with them, as it allows me to stay connected to the sport, even at the highest level of competition.
